Private Tours In North Iceland By Kip的点评
点评：I had the pleasure of taking two private tours with Kip this August - the Aldeyjarfoss and Hrafnabjargafoss tour and the Askja – Day tour. Both were AMAZING - the journey to Askja was as much of an adventure as the site itself, with Kip adventurously driving the Nissan Patrol through rivers/streams like they were nothing (we even stopped/parked right smack in the middle of the river at my request so that I could grab photos). Kip taught me the various edible berries along our hikes, and customized the tours with lots of extras, such as trying out a brand new not even fully marked trail up the mountain to get stunning pictures of the Askja caldera. I remember thinking at the end of the Askja day that Kip was going to have a really hard time topping the adventures on the waterfalls trip (which we flipped around from how it was originally planned to maximize good weather), but that was no less amazing. The journey to Aldeyjarfoss in particular was an adventure with the 1 lane, wooden bridges, but truly incredible to be able to experience an incredible waterfall understanding the geology (as explained by Kip) and NOT have thousands of tourists swarming the area, but literally quietly enjoying it in peace/privacy with just a couple of other adventurous fellow explorers. Kip was professional, courteous and made absolutely sure that I had a most enjoyable two day experience. While I also very much enjoyed the small group 7 day mini-bus tour around the ring road, the 2 days with Kip were the highlight and best part of my 2 week Iceland adventures this year - I would highly recommend his tour services to anyone wanting to see the real Iceland like a local vs. the show Iceland standard tourist stops.
