点评:If you want to enjoy Christmas in Oslo, avoid being there as a tourist for Christmas. That sounds weird but it is reality. The local tourist office showcases nice events and restaurants, but everything stops on the 23rd. Even public transport for one long day. The rest for at least 3 days and very often until Jan 3. All the shops and at least 95% of the restaurants. Even food shops! Only a couple of museums are open. Streets are completely dark and empty despite some decorations in the street. You end up doing long walks to finally be happy to eat at a fast food you would never enter otherwise. And even these are extremely expensive. The weather is glooming. This is not at all the place to enjoy a Christmas trip, these guys do not matter about tourists. This is so not professional! I hope they enjoyed their family reunions. We did not.
