点评:A group of Australian birdwatchers stayed at La Anita for two nights and as part of our tour we were given a talk about the history of chocolate by Pablo, the owner.
The talk took a couple of hours and the whole group of 9 were amazed by the effort and knowledge Pablo put into our talk plus lots of sampling of chocolate as he spoke about the history of chocolate through the ages.
Our group had 18 days wonderful days in Costa Rica and this was the most interesting experience of the whole trip for me.
I would happily return to La Anita and listen to the talk again.
You can also purchase chocolate nibs and packed chocolates at a very reasonable price of $US6.00/packet.
I went to buy more when leaving Costa Rica and found another company selling a similiar product for $US18.00 duty free at the airport and Pablo’s chocolate is far superior.
The accommodation at La Anita is also excellent and you can walk amongst his cacao trees and there are a number of trails to hike as well.
