Corbett Tiger Reserve的点评
点评：From every perspective, Corbett is a world-class National Park. We spent three days there, and saw 5 different Bengal tigers, including a tigress carrying a recently killed spotted deer along the Ramganga River to her three cubs. Later, we watched the tigress playing in the river with her cubs. Our very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide (Rajesh) and driver (Bunty) were phenomenal, and were especially gifted at tracking and finding wildlife throughout our six, half-day safaris. Among other additional highlights, we saw: many Asian elephants, including a nearby Tusker; a Tawny Fish-Owl with her chick and mate; gharials; a collared falconet with bulbul kill; a Spot-bellied Eagle Owl; scores of deer (spotted, hog, barking and sambar); and a plethora of other brilliantly colored birds and raptors, such as the Red-breasted parakeet, Emerald dove, White-throated kingfisher (and the Common, Pied and Crested kingfishers); Pallas's fish eagle, Lineated barbet; Blue-bearded bee eaters; Changeable hawk-eagles, and Black-neck stork.
The scenery is breathtaking, and the variety of plants and terrain, in addition to the wildlife, make every moment memorable.
