点评：Well it just doesn't get any better. I had a fantastic day visiting 3 very well chosen vineyards (viu manent, Neyen, and Maquis) with lunch at the stunning Montes winery.
Viu Monent - A great tour of the very well kept vineyards on a horse and carriage. A very knowledgeable tour guide who explained the history and types of wine they produce in great detail. I tried 5 wines all of which were very nice (including the whites which i dont usually drink). I walked away after purchasing a bottle with another free tasting of a rosè wine. Great start to the tour.
Neyen- A shorter stop here trying 2 iconic wines of different vintages. This however lead to sampling 3 more wines. Again Antonio was very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Lunch at Montes - Wow. This place was incredible, the views were insane. The food and drink were top tier. Highly recommend.
Maquis - A delightful winery sampling 4 of their wines. A great mix of their wines were sampled. 2 from Maquis and 2 from their sister winery which is closer to the coast allowing them to produce Sauvignon Blanc. Again they let me sample an extra wine, one of their iconic wines. It was 👌🏻 and another bottle purchased.
Due to solo travelling, the company arranged for me to have a private driver for the whole day. Definately worth the extra pennies.
Couldnt recommend this tour and company enough. If you like wine, then get booked on!!
