Terrible venue, poor viewing, awful security team itching to do something.

点评：This is my local track, about 3 miles away so I visit once a year or so as a racing fan that has traveled the country over the years watching everywhere.
This is a terrible place to visit. Genuinely one of the poorest racing venues in the country. The tickets are usually 20 quid a pop which is pricey. The grandstand is on the inside of the racecourse so you can only see 2 furlongs of a race.
The vibe is also not pleasant. The course have a weird security set up where there are usually a bunch of pumped up security guards just clubbed together staring at groups of people just itching to use their power. It's really off putting as a nice bloke to trying to enjoy an evening out. You'd honestly think there was loads of trouble there which there isn't, ever. The security are not helpful, or friendly, and are one of the biggest downsides to the course as it ruins the atmosphere.
