Simple changes would have made a mediocre experience a good one

点评：Family fun day was seemingly well organised with very good food provision and bouncy castles. Bouncy castles were all organised and free within the ticket price.
A few things let what could have been a great day down.
- Vendor pricing was higher than I’ve experienced anywhere else.
- toilets were a disgrace within a few hours. When I say disgrace there are no words. It is fair to say that the venue cannot be held responsible for filthy animals and that is true, however they could have cleaners through the day rather than expecting 1000’s of people to use the same toilets all day. They had tonnes and tonnes of staff wandering around seemingly not doing a lot, why not divert some staff costs into cleaning the areas that matter and need it!
- the smell of sewerage was not okay. There are five or six man hole covers in the area around the bouncy castles and bar areas. The stench coming from them all day was foul. Got worse and worse as the day went on,
- drink prices were astronomical. £12 for a tiny cup of apparel spritz! £8 for a plastic cup of wine. We only had one alcoholic drink but that is a little outrageous.
