The Island of Brač Museum is located in the oldest village on the island, Škrip. It is situated within the historic 17th century Castel Radojković.
The museum exhibits a variety of artefacts from the island's history, including archaeological finds, folk costumes, and traditional agricultural tools. However, if you are lucky enough to attend the seminar and presentation by the curator of the museum, you are in for a wonderful experience. The curator Andrea is passionate about the island's history and culture. She is an excellent resource for learning more about the museum's exhibits and the islands heritage. Her presentation of the history of Brac was warm, humorous and very entertaining. She was telling us a story, not firing facts and figures at the audience. It was quite a magical and captivating 20 minutes. Thank you.
