Thieves ruined our day
Santa Maria Golf & Country Club的点评
点评：16 of us played Santa Maria on Sunday and it was our final round of a 5 day golfing holiday.
Due to the course conditions buggies had to stay on the paths.
Thoroughly enjoyed it until we finished and realised all our golf bags had been searched by thieves and all cash in the wallets robbed whilst we were playing.
In total over £1000 stolen.
Informed the pro shop who weren’t interested at all and told us to ring the police.
This wasn’t an option as we were heading to the airport for our flight home.
I suppose it’s the chance you take by leaving wallets in bags but it’s really not expected.
As a group we visit this area every year but we won’t be returning to Santa Maria ever again.
The lack of interest from the staff was shocking to say the least.
I hope this post highlights what clearly is a problem and makes all fellow golfers aware that precautions are needed.
