Shahdag Mountain Resort的点评
点评：We stayed here for just a night and were pleasantly surprised and awed by the room we were given. From afar the stone facade may give the appearance of an old structure near dilapidation, like a vestige of Soviet times, but come closer and the intricately layered stone edifice reveals its magnificence. The interiors are grand and tastefully adorned. The room we had, with a view of the Plaza was spacious with capacious storage as well as a divan to boot. On the plus side it also had a balcony with a great view of the mountain. The room even stylish electric switches indicating what each does and toggle switches placed thoughtfully by the bedside. The best was the largish bathroom with its heated floors. The buffet breakfast on the ground floor Miraz was reasonably delicious, had an expansive spread and good enough vegetarian options. The adjoining bar Xezine looked good but was too brightly lit for my taste. The plaza opposite has many food, drink and gaming options of which Shahdag Pub deserves a mention for its reasonably priced beer and friendly service. The basement also has a spa and a heated swimming pool which we didn’t have time to use. Overall the service levels were pretty good although some staff struggle to speak in English; nothing that simple sign language and Google images couldn’t fix.
