点评：We purchased tickets for the noon guided tour on Saturday. It was great to get access to a place that was ‘secret’ for so long.
Amazing to think the public can only see 4% of what lies under Kinver and shame that their wine storage neighbours are being so awkward.
Full credit goes to all of the volunteers in keeping this museum going and has so much more potential.
Our guide was friendly, informative and happy to answer questions on all aspects of the facility and both periods of history.
We were in a crowd of about 30 and the tour was paced well to give time to look about without being too rushed.
The photographs and videos helped supplement the narrated element of the tour and we’ll be happy to revisit to see how work is progressing.
To think that this place would have been one of the ‘safe places’ during WW3 is pretty sobering when you are in it.
We purchased a tin-mug on the way out so bring some cash (no card facility) - every pound raised will go to improving this independent museum.
