点评:Wonderful pathway for people of all ages & abilities, clearly had significant investment in the area, however, you will always encounter fools, like an idiot with a spaniel dog on a long lead who’s dog nearly caused a cyclist to fall off, he wasn’t adhering to signs all along the path that state short leads, clearly for a reason, then a group of 4 females who thundered past & could easily have knocked someone over, they did not slow down at all as they approached pedestrians heading towards Threlkeld nor did I hear a bell, I so agree with another cyclist reviewer that maybe identifying one part for walkers & another for cyclists may work but you can’t educate stupid, so you’ll still have people walking in the cycling path, I don’t know what the answer is is other that to bar those without common sense, oops it may be almost empty then!
What I was impressed with were the cycles with the canopies on the front, one guy cycled past with 2 elderly ladies sitting up front & another with a lady actually sat in her wheelchair, how wonderful they have people to care enough to take them out to enjoy the 🤩 scenery!
