Burton Springs Fishing and Holidays的点评
点评：Arrived home yesterday from a 3 night stay. We came with friends and there were 8 of us all together (4 adults, 4 children aged 2,3,10,12)
When we arrived there was a mix up with the pitches and we were not together but this was rectified immediately by the owners.
The pitches were immaculate and very spacious, all with a a picnic table allocated to each pitch.
We were able to see the park from our pitch meaning the little ones could play whilst we set up. The toilets/showers and washing up area were spotless Everytime we used them.
The fishing lake was brilliant for the older children and men and provided hours of entertainment, we were also lucky that there was someone there from a youth angling group offering free fishing lesson so the 10&12 old were taught by him (they are both new to fishing) and this made their trip. The fishing does come at an extra cost, but it is cheap and definitely worth it.
The games room was also a big hit.
We saw the owners many times throughout our stay and each time we did they stopped and had a chat with us, they were very friendly (our pitch was also directly next to their house).
Yes the site is basic but this is the reason we booked it, we wants the kids to unplug from technology and actually spend quality family time together.
The honesty shop has all your basics that you will need, we did go into town and do a food shop for the weekend but kept topped up from here.
We aren't the quietest of groups, especially the children running and having fun and being loud and we never had any problems.
Everyone there was super friendly.
We will definitely be back!
