Truly incredible must do experience for animal & nature lovers

点评：From the moment you leave the main Chi Phat road you know immediately that this isn't going to be a normal experience in the best way possible. After twisting through jungle roads that are almost certainly not for bikes for a few kilometres, a jungle oasis opens up with the bungalows, Kiri, & Doc (both pictured) waiting to greet you, one significantly more warmly than the other!).
Our human guide Born was chatty & informative from the outset & throughout, and the Release Station rangers despite varying levels of english were all incredibly friendly & accommodating of our incessant curiosity & photo taking. Whilst we were on holiday, they were not, and it was refreshing to see them just get on with their work & not need to dress up what they were doing - it was a genuinely authentic experience.
We stayed two nights. You will get the chance to do the feeding rounds in the morning & evening, as well as the night feeding if there are any pangolin at the station - go on every one of these that you can. There will be a hike that you can go on with the ranger/s & your guide, and if the weather is behaving a quick walk to a sunset viewing spot in the evenings - just do everything that you possibly can whilst here. It is all incredible, and I'm still pinching myself as I type about it now.
Water & food are provided, with the latter being whipped up by one of the Release Station staff & being significantly better than anything you've ever paid for in a restaurant.
It's expensive on paper, but the money all goes into the Release Station and as such is worth every cent.
