点评：You are picked up from the main village of Chi Phat and travel for around 40 minutes on the back of a moped, through local roads and finally into preserved jungle. When you arrive, the best welcoming committe is there to great you, Kiri (a great hornbill) and Doctor (a stork, who MAY sleep on the top of your bungalow) Kiri MAY get incredibly frustrated with you if she feels you are not up early enough in the morning to see her! You will spend time learning about the animals that are there, along with attending the days feeding regime. Some animals are permanent residents, due to being over familirised with humans and unable to survive in the wild, and some having significant injuries. The others, they hope, will have a successful release. You will get to see more wild animals due to the success of the centre. The rangers are incredibly personable, and the food is just amazing, as some other reviews have stated, the food here is some of the best we had in Cambodia. The rangers offer a two hour trek through the jungle. Do be aware of leeches and take plenty of bug spray with you! But don't let this put you off, the leeches are small, we went shoulder of wet season.
We would liked to have seen more opportunities to have trekked as well as maybe some star gazing, but, this is a Wildlife Release Centre and doesn't try to sell anything other than that. If you are looking for the perfect way to stop, unwind, chill and enjoy nature, this is the ideal place for you.
