Still a nice hotel
The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel的点评
点评：We've been visiting the Bedford Lodge for around 8 years, it's always been our little retreat. We have visited around 8 times and left gleaming reviews in turn.
The hotel feels elegant. It is clean, well kept and tidy. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are polite and helpful.
On this occasion our stay was rather lackluster. This is why I have only given 3*.
The lady working behind the bar in the evening using her fingers to wipe beer froth from around the top and outside rim of the glasses after pouring.
We ordered a chicken burger and a beef burger via room service. Both arrived only slightly warm, but very dry. It did not in any way reflect a £23 main course. Having eaten at the squires restraunt during previous stays we were dissapointed on this occasion.
The hair dryer was not working properly (cutting out after 20 seconds)
The shower had very very little pressure.
Overall, it would appear that standards have dropped. Which is really unfortunate as we used to rave about this place.
