Good, bad and ugly.

点评：Grew up in Thunder Bay, but now live elsewhere, and have seen many changes in this area both good and bad. The good part is the development, modernization and utilization of the waterfront. The hotel and restaurants are a nice addition plus the fact that several events are staged in the area. Nice walking paths along the water for everyone to use. The addition of paid parking has angered the locals but it's no different than any other city trying to create revenue.
The bad is the horrific mess that is a homeless tent city on the east edge of park. I certainly wouldn't be that area after dark. An attempted walk through the downtown area also proved to be disconcerting. Businesses that had put out tables/chairs for customers found street people sleeping, and worse, in those spaces. Not good for locals, tourists or business owners. Not a problem isolated to T.Bay.... but something needs to be done or the downtown will disappear.
