I was today walking about exploring the mall at around 11.30 AM. I needed some guidance in regards to Juan Valdez coffee shops. The lady at the information centre in the mall was extremely rude and fake. First of all, she was on her phone and I was standing in front of her, she did not want to acknowledge my presence, she looked as extremely annoyed that I was approaching her for some guidance. She didn’t let her phone down to serve me and gave me the fakest smile ever. When I asked her, do you know any other Juan Valdez in the area, she responded, No, only the one in the mall and I wouldn’t know what to tell you about other Juan Valdez in the area and ended the conversation abruptly with a unauthentic smile. Fair enough, if you don’t know any other Juan Valdez in the area but that’s not the manner of treating customers. She acted as if I was a burden to her existence. She shouldn’t be working in customer service, she gives a bad reputation to the beautiful people of Colombia that are always so nice and warm. She should be working in immigration customs at the airport because her character fits better there.
