点评：Have been going to The Jolly Brew for years, but was disappointed by my visit last night. There has always been a good selection of ales, but increasingly of late there have been more and more obscure local/"craft" beers to the exclusion of well known established brewers. Last night there wasn't a single national brewers ale available and the first pint I forced myself to drink was cloudy (when it shouldn't be) and rather sour. The second pint was supposedly an amber ale, but more like a stout and not good. Finally the third pint, from Stroud Brewery, was OK. The beers keep changing and that one probably won't even be on next week so it will be back to a lottery of what to have. By all means give local brewers a place, but back that up by having some first class mainline brewery ales on a regular basis.
