A great local swimming pool
Settle Area Swimming Pool的点评
点评：I’ve been coming to Settle for many years now and yet, I’ve never made use of their local swimming pool.
My son has special needs and loves splashing around in the water, so this was a long overdue visit.
And what a great place it turns out to be. They run a calm and inclusive session which sounded perfect for us and that’s exactly what it was.
The pool was very well heated, relaxed and quiet. You had a clear sense of the regular customers enjoying this pool.
My son took a while to get used to it and I had to give him some space to calm him down, but he soon acclimatised and made lots of happy sounds and laughter.
The staff are to be applauded for just being so friendly, understanding and engaged, talking to me about my son, offering floats and asking questions about him.
And the locals are typical Yorkshire folk too; talking to me and making me feel part of their group.
Just a lovely morning and my son really enjoyed himself. We’ll be back in Settle in September and a return visit is a guarantee!
