Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church的点评
点评：I would like to update my previous review of January, 2016, as a number of things have happened since then.
First, La Piedad was hit by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September, 2017, which inflicted significant damage to the church; especially the roof. The leaks are fixed, but the church is still working on raising funds for permanent repairs to the roof and electrical system. Even though damaged by Maria, the church acted as a marshalling center for hurricane aid for the area, primarily due to its large parking area. For those of you who have been to Puerto Rico, you know how scarce parking really is.
Secondly, La Piedad has been designated a Jubilee Church for 2025, making the receipt of a plenary indulgence possible.
The church is still one of the friendliest I have ever been in. My wife and I come here whenever we are in Puerto Rico; which, for me has been since 1996. Love the church and the people. Would love to see you there.
