Visiting the Ancient Ram Inn had been on my list for years, and it was every bit as fascinating as I had hoped. Whatever your views on the paranormal, the building’s greatest achievement is that it preserves centuries of history, folklore and human stories within its walls.
What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the guided tour. The staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Inn. Their thoughtful commentary brought each room to life, placing its history, legends and architectural features into context without sensationalism. It felt less like a ghost tour and more like an exploration of one of England’s most remarkable historic buildings.
I left feeling genuinely fulfilled. Whether you’re interested in medieval history, folklore or simply Britain’s extraordinary heritage, I couldn’t recommend a visit more highly!
