Excellent - why didn't we do this before!?

点评：We had a fantastic day out using Kaminaki Boats. Dimitris was excellent pre-trip with options and communication and upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly team.
We stayed at the Atlantica Nissaki Beach hotel who on numerous occasions told us the walk was up to half an hour. We are in our mid thirties and completed the walk in under 10 minutes - don't be put off, it was an the easy walk.
Boat Rental was from 10am for up to 8hrs. We rented a 30h boat which you do not need a license for. For newbies, this was more than enough power - you will be surprised!
Before setting off, the Team explained boating-basics, provided a map and gave local knowledge of where to visit etc. including a red zone of 'do not cross the Albania border'(!) (if you manage to do so, I'd be impressed, it's a few miles away). Also included was a cool-box so you could take food and drinks should you wish to.
The only (minor) thing was that anchoring and docking perhaps could have gone into more detail / had a quick practise with the team nearby as the ride to the top of Corfu was a leisurely 1.5hrs away - by this point we were testing our memories a bit of the do-s and don't-s - as you are responsible for damages to boat, we did not risk it and instead stopped off for swimming spots along the way instead. This is so minor it should not put you off and is perhaps more a reflection of us being new to the boating-life.
Once on your way, the nerves dissipated and we truly had a fantastic day out - we were due to do a Catamaran trip via Tui which was approx £90pp - no doubt crammed in like sardines. Instead, we had a roomy boat just for two and, including fuel, cost us only £145.
Needless to say we will be renting a boat more often on our travels and we cannot recommend Kaninaki Boats enough.
