Stunning Parkland Gem With Lightning-Fast Greens!
South Staffs Golf Club的点评
点评：Managed to sneak in a solo round here on a gorgeous June morning, and South Staffs completely lived up to its stellar reputation. It is a traditional tree-lined parkland course that demands respect off the tee. While it isn't the longest track out there, the fairways are tight and heavily guarded by mature timber, meaning accuracy is far more valuable than raw distance.
The standout feature for me has to be the greens—they are absolute lightning, brilliantly true, and feature subtle breaks that will test even the best putters. Condition-wise, the club is keeping the grounds in immaculate nick, from the pristine fairways down to the well-kept bunkers. Staff in the shop and clubhouse were exceptionally welcoming to a lone visitor. A proper historic test of golf that is well worth playing!
