点评：Beautiful but Overcrowded Experience
Before leaving Australia, I was told Livraria Lello was a must-see and considered the most beautiful bookshop in the world. You need to book a ticket in advance or you simply won’t get in, so I reserved my entry for 11:45 a.m.
Finding it was quite easy, even with the rain and slippery cobblestone streets. However, when I arrived, I was met with two enormous queues stretching hundreds of metres. The signs indicated entry times of 11:00 and 11:15, but in reality, most people were waiting at least an hour to an hour and a half — and all while standing in heavy rain.
Once inside, there’s no denying the beauty. The intricate wooden staircase, stained glass ceiling, and old-world charm are absolutely breathtaking. Sadly, it was so overcrowded that it was almost impossible to appreciate it. People understandably stopped on the stairs to take photos, but it caused serious bottlenecks and made moving around or viewing the books and architecture quite difficult.
It’s still a remarkable building and definitely worth seeing for its history and design — but I’d strongly recommend that management limit the number of visitors per time slot. With smaller groups, the experience could be as magical as it deserves to be.
