Whiskey Rapids Trail的点评
点评：I was visiting family and we spent some time in Algonquin Provincial Park and had a wonderful time. Whilst we were there we did a couple of trials and one of these was the Whiskey Rapids Trail. The trail is just off the main road that runs through the park and there is a car park you can use although when we visited the car park was very busy.
There is a board in the car park showing information on the trail and it is possible to take a leaflet to use as you navigate the trail with different things to look out for as you go along. They say you can take one and then return it or alternatively pay 50 cents into a slot and keep the guide as a souvenir which is what I did.
If scenery is your thing then this is definitely a good walk to take however there are some parts of the trail that are a bit steep and also there are lots of tree roots exposed so watch your step!
The most scenic part of the walk is alongside the Whiskey Rapids river. We visited in October 2023 and the river was not very full but there was still plenty of nature to enjoy.
It's a great walk to do and make sure you are prepared with suitable walking shoes along with water to drink to stay hydrated.
