Greens utterly unplayable
Jandia Golf Course的点评
点评：I must start by stressing that this review is ONLY about the golf course, NOTHING to do with the hotel. The basic fact is that the course should not even be open for paying guests. It is offensive to actually ask people for money to play it. The greens are destroyed!!
Myself and 3 friends went down (we all live on Fuerteventura and play golf on another of the island's courses) to check the course to see if we should book a group trip for a much larger number of people later this year. We have all played the Jandia course many times in the past so are very familiar with it. The course barely survived through the Covid years. The old guy who ran it back then managed to rescue it and get it back to an above average level (kudos!), and even just 18 or so months ago, when I last played it, it was in decent condition. However, since the change in ownership and the intergration with the hotel, something has gone really drastically wrong.
I don't believe (but may be wrong) that there is any actual 'golf professional' or staff with actual knowledge of golf itself or golf agronomy present. They are just hotel staff - reception / shop and then buggy guys / maintenance etc.
Needless to say, we won't be making that group booking. They need to close the course for 6 months, dig up and re-lay the greens starting from the beginning. No exaggeration - it was that bad! I've been playing golf for 40 years, all over the world, scratch handicap, and I've never seen greens in such bad condition on a course.

不言而喻，我们不会进行团体预订了。他们得把球场关闭六个月，然后从头开始重新铺设果岭。毫不夸张地说，情况就是那么糟糕！我打高尔夫已经40年了，足迹遍布世界各地。球道状况糟糕透顶，我从未见过球场上果岭的状况如此之差。
