点评:I was at Kidzania Singapore on the 11th October 2026 and was visiting the ice cream and cookies making station at around 3:00 to 3:30pm. The activity states that it is for children 4+ years old to participate in, however, a foreign couple from East Asia (we know where) with a 3 year old child was negotiating with the staff on duty to let their 3 year old child participate in the activity. Initially, the staff (Afina), told the couple that the activity is only for 4+ years old, however, she finally relented and allowed the child to participate.
Not only that, the activity costs S$8 and the staff did not collect any payment from the couple. Initially I thought that maybe the foreign couple and the staff forgot about the payment so I kindly reminded the staff, to my horror, the staff said "IT IS OK", meaning it is ok that they don't pay. Then why should I pay? Why should other customers pay? I then reminded the foreign couple when the activity has ended that perhaps they have forgotten to pay in which they replied "oh yes we will pay later.", and right after that, the couple and their child just walked away without paying! I told the staff and the couple that everyone has paid for the activity, they ignored me, the staff was busy attending to other customers (collecting payment from other customers) and the foreign couple shamelessly just walked away without paying!
After that, I spoke to the staff and told her that perhaps she was trying to be kind and nice to allow the 3 year old girl to participate in the activity, and allowing her to participate is not a crime, even though it may be against the company's policy. However, customers walking away with service/food without paying when they should be charged, now that is a crime! Isn't that theft? I gave them the benefit of doubt thinking that perhaps they have forgotten, but after mentioning it twice to both the staff and the couple, they simply ignore and walked away, isn't this balantantly theft in broad daylight?
After I threaten to call the police for theft then only did the staff went after the couple to make them pay. And after paying, the lady came over to my table and slam the receipt loudly on my table and shouted "HAPPY NOW".
It shows that Kidzania Singapore has no standards and the staff they hire couldn't care less about the policies and rules, so much so that they are fine with letting customers steal and walk away without paying.
