Superb wines and a warm welcome.
Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm的点评
点评：After walking part of the Via Francigena we saw the vineyard as we came into view of San Gimignano and popped in without reservation for a wine tasting. Unfortunately you have to make a reservation for this but we were invited to purchase wine by the glass. We welcomed this opportunity and were not disappointed. The wait team made us feel very welcome despite our impromptu visit and more "informal" attire (it had been a long walk)
The outside area is beautiful and we loved their resident dog. And of course seeing the towers of San Gimi in the (near) distance is the iconic vista
We sampled the sparkling vernaccia white and rosé, then the vernaccia and the Chianti. Superb wines. Very impressed. The nibbles were very tasty too.
I would highly recommend booking an appropriate tasting as the food looked delicious.
