It is not a common bridge that connects the motorway junction with the access roads to the historic center of Potenza, bypassing the industrial area and the most important river in the Basilicata region, Basento, but a gigantic and refined sculptural work.
From above you cannot notice and admire its beauty,
it would be better to park your car under the bridge to admire its slender concrete spans.
In fact, the bridge does not rest on pillars, but on concrete waves that form a single vault and four adjacent arches, about 70 meters each.
The construction works began in 1971 and its inauguration was in 1975.
