Black Police Precinct and Courthouse Museum的点评
点评：I discovered the museum online and had it on my wishlist for a couple of years. I grew up in Miami, but hadn't been in several years. Even though my visit was just a couple of days, I had to see this historic place.
I booked the first tour of the day, but ran late. I was the first one of the day, and got a personal tour from one of the retired Officers on staff. There were so many great stories about the items on display, and the brave men who were true pioneers.
The work that was done to restore the building and bring the museum to life is another chapter that's just as compelling as the original history of the precinct. This was the only one, and it holds a unique place in the history of Miami, Florida, and America. As an African American and a retired police officer, the museum gives me many reasons to be proud and grateful for the "First Five".
I'll definitely be back!
