点评:I rented a mobility scooter for my 77 year old mother that has early stage dementia and can't walk far. The booking was excellent and scooter delivered as agreed. Payment had to be in cash, which I thought nothing of at the time. The scooter had some damage, several scratches that had been touched in and the front panel had been cable tied on but overall it was in good condition. Jose said that a few scratches are acceptable and they don't withhold the deposit for this. We couldn't use the scooter as much as we would have liked as they cannot go on the buses and the island is not disabled friendly. A lot of crossings do not have dropped curbs and pavements can become very narrow. There were a couple of occasions that my mother misjudged a turn and caught the side of the scooter on the wall but no major incident. On the day of collected, we had booked a boat trip and had an early start. So, I messaged the company and left everything for them to collect with the key in the key box outside the villa. On returning I checked the key box and the deposit had not been returned. I then checked my emails and was shocked to see an email from the Jose and Glynne to say the scooter had suffered damage whilst in our care and probably cant be repaired as it is cracked. The worst part was the words that were used ' It's a shame you couldn't advise us before arranging collection whilst you are not there, but to be honest, not a surprise either as this behaviour is typical of so many people these days'. So, i called and spoke to Glynne to understand what damage they had found as I was unaware. Glynne, said she had sent photos and was very abrupt. I checked whilst on the call and said there are no photos attached. Glynne said she would send then now and didn't, then she hung up on me. It was not a great feeling on the final day of our holiday and I wouldn't recommend using this company.
