点评：I have never stayed overnight at a palace before. I’ve stayed at ministerial homes but never a palace.
It is an experience!
Don’t expect elevators, showers, refrigerators in the room, a restaurant or even a drinks bar. Expect instead a real life experience - a stay in a 500 year old building. The foundations of which are mudejar. The building is run by a Marquis and his family who live on the premises.
The two brothers, of the family, who I met were very friendly and happy to help in any way that they were able to.
The rooms are quaint and charming. I was even left a box of chocolates, a pack of biscuits, cakes and peanuts in the room. Delicious - very thoughtful.
The gardens are lovely with an old lemon tree that overhangs the pool which also has mint growing next to it. The smell is lovely.
It is a very relaxing place to stay and is very central to the historic town of Jerez. Being just across the road from the Alcazar.
If you stay at the Palace you can join a tour group of the place free of charge.
