Quirky but worthwhile little maritime museum

点评：Great little museum with some fascinating exhibits and vessels (including an old tug boat you can wander all around, which is fab), offering some interesting local insight, including into the inglorious days of whaling. Overall a little dilapidated but well worth making the effort to go.
Audio guides are no longer available (you can still see the numbers beside the exhibits) but you can ask in reception (where you buy the tickets) and they should provide you with a free guide to walk you around in person. Note: they didn't automatically offer us the guide, we got her by going back in and asking where the audio guide was. You can explore the museum alone if you prefer, as there are some information panels, but these aren't brilliant and you learn more with a guide for sure.
Good value entry at R10, with free parking outside, cool drinks available to buy at reception (and picnic tables where you can sup these) and some great views across the harbour.
