点评：Just returned from Whiskey Acres Distilling Co. in DeKalb, IL. What an amazing experience! We started with a couple bourbon slushes, oh so tasty and refreshing. I recommend taking the Distillery Tour. It was so nice to hear the story of how it all began and how they make the bourbon. Anna, our tour guide was exceptional and her enthusiasm and passion really shined through. And of course, you get to cap it off with some yummy tastings! The venue is really nice with ample seating inside and outside. All the servers and bartenders were very welcoming and personable. We were there on a Saturday night and enjoyed Stone the Crow, the evening’s entertainment as well as Chuck's Wood Fired Pizza Food Truck. I finished the evening with a make-your-own old fashioned, choosing bourbon whiskey finished in maple syrup casks, maple syrup, orange bitters and smoked. A perfect end to a perfect day. Highly recommended!
