Very nice state park but with issues
Sequoyah Bay State Park的点评
点评：Sequoyah Bay State Park is very well maintained especially for a state park. The grounds were clean, mowed and trees trimmed. The camp ground section we stayed in was the Choctaw section. It is quite in the area and there is lots of room between sites and they are paved. We did not encounter any stickers like we have at other state parks, that is great for pets.
The area does have issues though. Not a lot of level sites, you really have to work getting the trailer level and the pull through have limited shade. It is just hearsay but I heard that many of the back in sites have problems with ticks, maybe due to the trees around them. I noticed that the bath house is not located in the area by the parking site, you have a little walk down a tree lined path to get there. Not ideal if you prefer to use bath house instead of trailer. The road on the out bound side of the Choctaw section needs attention. The only other issue we saw was the wasp were bad.
We will go back but will be very selective of the site we chose.
