Authentic station stay with an excellent host

点评：The stay at Bindara was a standout on our recent tour along the Murray and up the Darling. The station offers both accommodation and camping. We stayed in accommodation close to the main house but were self catering. The owner, Barb, is an exceptional host. We loved the communal dinners with other guests and sitting around the fire and sharing experiences. All the people we met at Bindara shared the love of the outback and the serenity that was Bindara. Barb is such a lovely person, so accommodating and very hard working. If you want to experience a station stay then this is one I would highly recommend. Do not expect 5 star accommodation as that is not what this is all about. This is about a comfortable, authentic station stay. Our room with its on suite was absolutely comfortable. Waking in the morning to the smell of the fire (it was cool) is a magic experience. Coffee and breakfast around the fire is such a good experience. The cost of staying here is very modest, in fact I would have paid more. Don't expect internet (there is some 4G coverage) as that is not what this stay is about. The station is about an hours drive to Menindee on acceptable gravel roads.
