点评:The Constellation Trail is a fun, fairly easy trail, filled with big rocks just begging you to take some photos!
When we arrived at the trail head, a fellow hiker advised us to follow the white dots - good advice since this will prevent you from getting lost. There are signs along the trail, which also makes it easy to navigate.
We chose to make a big counterclockwise loop, staying on the main trail. There are many interconnecting minor trails on the interior of the loop if you want to explore more. It took us about an hour and twenty minutes, but we stopped a lot to take pictures and just take in the beauty. You will be surprised by the number of balanced rocks that you spot.
Make sure to stop at the rock bench and memorial to the five navy servicemen who died in a 1959 plane crash here. There are some remnants of the crash - an eerie reminder and a stark contrast to the tranquil surroundings of this place.
I didn't notice that there was a sign at the trailhead instructing visitors to pay the small fee. I did see the sign on our return and went to the pay box near the bathrooms. Lucky me - the pay box had a message that it was a fee-free Wednesday.
