点评:PROS
• Very very nice event hall- open, spacious, great heavy wooden oak design
* Wines reported as good quality, but I never touch it
• Nice modern rustic facility
• Outstanding and wonderfully designed demonstration of local ancient Biblical and Talmudic artifacts and housewares and wine implements and carafes and other utensils - as old as almost 4000 years (see my "helpful" photos)
* See the barrels of wine and take a tour of their wine making process with tastings too
* Epic view over the Jordan Valley, especially at sunset (no "helpful" photos)
• Efficient staff that are friendly attentive and helpful
* The food at the event was very very incredibly good
CONS
• Location remains a minus- it's difficult to get there and one has to be very alert and watch the area
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... recently for a second time- I was invited to participate in a family event again (everyone liked the place the first time- see my first "helpful" review).
I again enjoyed it very much, especially the panoramic breath taking scenic view out to the Jordan Valley and beyond (no photos this time again).
The food was simply outstanding fabulous and fantastic and I ate more to excess than I can ever remember. I felt so bloated afterwards that I needed to walk around the grounds for at least 40 minutes until I felt better.
I spent some of that time admiring the fantastic incredible and amazingly pleasantly aesthetically displayed ancient Israelite artifacts found on the site of the winery- from 2000 to 4000 years old!!
Again, I enjoyed the travel journey to get there much less than even my first visit.
WOULD I VISIT AGAIN?
Sure, but I wouldn't enjoy getting there
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
I was invited to a family event, so no cost
ADVICES
* Enjoy the wonderful pleasant and pleasing design of the place
* Enjoy the amazing panoramic view of the Jordan Valley from the patio
* Enjoy the amazing historical archaeological artifacts
* Enjoy the incredible food
* Take a wine making, storing and tasting tour
* Know exactly where you are going and how to get there. Be careful with Waze, which might send you into areas and neighborhoods that you otherwise would not want to visit- the classic direction is through Pisgat Zeev neighborhood to the Hizma passage.
