Great Little Place but Minor Flaws
Newbiggin Golf Club的点评
点评：I visited Newbiggin Golf Club back in April when I visited Newbiggin and stayed for a week, I really enjoyed the place. within the Golf Club itself, my wife and I really enjoyed coming in during an afternoon for a couple drinks we quite enjoyed it, the atmosphere was nice and quiet, but unfortunately what let the place down was its bar staff, there was a young chap who worked there who done exceptionally well, great manners from the lad and an excellent customer service was provided from him. but unfortunately I can't say the same for the rest, one that stood out was that there was an older woman on who was on the bar the odd days and I have to say I cant say we really felt welcomed, she just came off as miserable and complained a lot, she didn't seem like she really wanted to be there and that bad expression defiantly gave off a bad atmosphere within the area which I didn't find anywhere else in Newbiggin, we visited the Creswell Arms, Ink Spot, and other pubs, and in all of them they had a young bar staff which I think are very welcoming and pleasant and really make the place what it deserves to be, I do think young people are the way forward with bar work, there's always a pattern with them and that is that they seem to really enjoy working the bar and chatting with customers which as a business man myself is great to see and is always great for business.
but other than that the place was great, 2 televisions and a pool table, will admit without the flaw we could've spent a whole day in there, was tremendous and even the days when that bad atmosphere was present if the weather was nice me and my wife tended to sit outside, which was nice and an even nicer view of the course.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and will more than likely return if we ever visit Newbiggin again, but hope to see a change within the place.
