Perfect Summer Day in Zurich
Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen的点评
点评：My teens, 5 year old, and I had a lovely time as American tourists in Zurich. Our day at Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen was one of the most relaxed and memorable of our entire vacation. We paid €8 each and felt that this was a great value. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Lots of grassy space to spread out a picnic and sunbathe. There are gender-specific changing rooms/bathrooms/sunbathing areas.
Bring your own towels (we were traveling with quick-dry microfiber ones that I highly recommend as travel blankets AND towels), plus a cold bag with picnic supplies. The front desk has snacks and ice cream for sale, plus things like sunscreen and rental umbrellas.
The big kids loved challenging themselves to jump into the lake from the two open diving boards. They swam out to the floating docks, too. Life guards were on duty to make sure folks were safe. Mom enjoyed the relative safety and swimability of the ~2ft deep pool and dry deck. There’s also a tall, twisty, slow water slide that was perfect for the 5 year old and a buddy. The splash pad for non-swimmers (very young kids) was great, and there was playground equipment right next to it all, so the kids had plenty to do when finished with the lake.
This was a totally doable addition to our Zurich trip. Accessible by tram and at the southern tip of a beautiful, walkable park.
