点评：A notice on the shut gate says the walk is closed until 30th Jan 2025 but you just walk around the gate. Something is going on as there were stacks of planks lying around, maybe they are going to do more board walks or put in a ticket office..
The first 100 meters is all board walk, this takes you to the first view point. If you can't see the glacier from here due to cloud, you probably won't see it.
The second view point is about 300 meters further on then nothing till the end. The trail wasn't in great condition beyond the 2nd viewpoint. CONAF haven't (yet) cleared away the trees that have fallen on the trail over the winter so a bit of scrambling is involved. The vegetation around the trail is also overgrown & needs a trim in the later stages.
The walk ends at a viewing platform, maybe back in the day you could get closer to the glacier but it would be harder now. You can see steps by the platform where maybe the trail continued.
On a nice day it's a great hike and it's not hard. Would definitely recommend it.
