点评:On a hot summers night this park is quite romantic to walk through... the sprinklers come alive and the cool atmosphere with the lights causing dappling on the grass is quite beautiful. For me, in this instance, it was not romance that brought me here but serendipity. My companion was someone I was familiar and safe with...so it was a pleasant park to walk through.
Declared a park in 1873...It is located directly north of the University of Melbourne and bounded on its eastern and western sides by Melbourne General Cemetery and Royal Parade respectively. The reason I was here was simply because I had been visiting my daughter in the nearby Royal Women's Hospital ... and I felt like walking that evening.
It was named for Albert, Prince Consort. It is truly a wonderful place to unwind from. your day.
