点评:Son Udgam Temple is a lovely place to visit while on a trip to Amarkantak. If you are reasonably fit, the best way to reach is to walk. Let me add a word of caution, while the walk is just about a km plus from Narmada Udgam Temple, there are many monkeys enroute and at Son Udham Temple too. So, please do not tease the monkeys and keep your hands free and you will be fine. A tip, do not look at the monkeys and to be on safer side, carrry a stick; they will not bother you.
The walk is awesome with wonderful tree cover so you will not feel the sun.
Once you reach the spot, do go down to the temple and after the darshan, a good way to finish off is by having a refreshing cup of tea at the numerous tea stalls there.
Intersting tip: Do ask the Panditji about the story of the marriage between Narmada River and Son River which did not happen! Amazing as to how the story has been weaved keeping the flow of the rivers, truly, India is incredible!
