Poor, cold and disappointing

点评：Found a leaflet for this bookshop and it looked good. However, very disappointed. It was so cold in there, there the entire cavernous space heated by a single log burner.
Staffed by children, especially in the cafe, the ambience was not good, not friendly, more nervous than helpful.
I ordered a pot of tea and got little more than hot water, so weak even after lots of stirring and leaving to stand for 20 minutes.
The books were difficult to go through to find what you want, there was a semblance of order but they s did not help. Many were not priced and had to be looked up on the checkout computer so you have no idea what it will cost until you get to the checkout.
A long way at 90 minutes from home and simply not worth the effort, a shame because we love old book shops and will travel to a good one. I will stick to Astley Book Farm in future.
