Avoid going to Tiruchendur temple in June 2025 as it is in renovation work

点评：Had a very bad experience in the temple. The management of crowd is very poor. No supervisors or security personnel to check the problems faced in the queue. All male devotees are asked to take off their shirts and banians inside the temple. Kindly take a towel with you. There is so separate queue for women and men. Very difficult for women devotees to surpass the confusing queues. The temple has become a marketing and begging hub. The temple construction work is going on and could not see real swami. Got a glimpse of uthsavar after 3 hours of wait in Special darshan queue. Ticket is Rs 100 per person. Inside you can see archakars asking for Rs.100 for archanai which we can never witness. The archanai bag sold there before the entrance of the queue is Rs 100 per bag. All shabby dirty places everywhere. There is no smell of sandhanam or flowers or thiruneer anywhere within or outside the temple. The footwears safety lockers are too faraway from temple sannathi. All aged people and those who are carrying babies, kindly avoid going this month. Check out when the temple is completely built and ready for a blissful darshan. May lord Muruga bless us all.
