Disappointing experience

点评：We were so excited to try this place after reading all the great reviews but ended up leaving quite disappointed. We did the tour with sugar cane juice making and cooking class. Unfortunately, our tour guide wasn’t very informative, spoke very softly & seemed evasive when people asked questions. Sugar cane juicing was interactive for the kids. We got to try some sugarcane juice at the end as well as moonshine made from it. The cooking class was very simple. Made corn tortillas, gallo pinto and a salad dressing. I would have been nice if they gave us a copy of the recipes since it’s hard to write down when you are cooking. Instead, I was told to email them to ask for the recipes. The buffet was tasty. They had beef, chicken, picadillo, rice & beans. Coffee was served at the end with a fried tortilla, that was very stale, covered with a molasses syrup. Overall an alright experience if you are looking to kill some time on a rainy day.
