点评：This is a truly impressive construction and one of the technical gems of the Czech Republic. The power plant features the largest reversible turbine installed in Europe.
The hydroelectric power plant can be visited as part of an organized tour—note that tours must be booked in advance, not just during high season. You can reach the site either on foot or by taking the cable car from Kouty (450 CZK one-way / 490 CZK return).
From the top station of the cable car, you can either take a small shuttle bus (which coordinates with the cable car arrivals, 100 CZK) or walk around 3 km with an elevation gain of 250 meters.
Be advised that during the summer season, the cable car operates every half hour from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a bar to refresh if you need.
At the top, there is a small kiosk offering hot and cold drinks as well as snacks, including hot dogs. For those seeking a bit of adventure, scooter rentals are available for a fun and adventurous downhill ride.
