点评:We took the Ato Lissant Blue Lagoon Tour.
Snorkeling itself was fine overall.
However we were very disappointed in all other aspects of the tour.
The boat used was very cramped and crowded, with poor seating and very limited room to put on gear. Food for the lunch was not of good quality, variety or quantity. Refreshments were very limited with not enough provided to hydrate people and only available at the lunch stop. Facilities at the lunch area were virtually non-existent.
The tour guide and his deckhand did not provide any assistance to people getting into or out of the water. When swimmers were in the water the operators were mostly on their phones or napping. There was no snorkeling gear provided other than one pair of fins to be shared.
At one snorkeling stop there were concerns over what types of sharks were present. The tour guide could not be bothered to look or provide any information to the swimmers.
At that same stop, while there were swimmers in the water, the tour guide moved the boat away (approximately 150 yards) from the general area of the swimmers without letting the swimmers know what was happening. This happened a second time at the same location. The swimmers had to swim against the current for a significant distance to get back to the area of the boat. The guide would not respond to calls from alarmed swimmers to get closer to them.
There was no attention paid to the safety of the snorkelers throughout the tour. Customer service was non-existent and communications with the group were minimal overall. The tour operator tried to shorten the tour by 2 1/2 hours at one point also. Overall there was very poor customer service, poor communications and poor attitude towards the customers, very poor safety practices and a complete disregard for customers having a good tour.
