点评：We had heard mixed reviews regarding the Oslob Whales but decided to go check it out for ourselves.
We arrived in Cebu and travelled down to Moalboal to do some diving. We didn’t want to pay for taxis to get to Oslob then back to Cebu which worked out too expensive then we discovered this tour..
They picked up at the hotel in Moalboal on time and in peak season. It made for a seamless travel and transfer experience as the driver and car was perfect. We arrived around 8:30am (after a 5am collection) and was greeted by Maria, who knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely a nice person. She directed us to obtain the place in the queue (there’s no way of escaping this). We then departed the area to wait until it was our turn. We had breakfast and visited a local waterfalls, all this while Maria continued to phone and check where the queue position was. It was clear she was well liked and respected by the local community.
When it was ready to return we arrived within minutes of the whale experience. Although the whales are fed to stay in the area we saw multiple come and go as they pleased, the site also shuts every morning at 11am so the whales don’t get stressed.
Overall it was great to experience these beautiful animals in the wild and exceeded my previous expectations.
4.5hrs later our lovely driver dropped us off in Cebu city and helped us with our luggage.
